Heart for Monroe is proud to offer a FREE 3-day sports camp to children and youth from kindergarten through 8th grade. The Heart for Monroe Sports Camp will be held at East Union Middle School from July 25-27 from 8:30am – 12pm (check-in starts at 8am). Participating children can learn soccer, basketball, and football skills from former school, college players, and coaches.

All activities will occur outside the school. Each sport will be broken into smaller group to ensure player and volunteer safety.

There are only 150 spaces available. All children and youth must enroll here online using the form below.

Heart for Monroe will continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 prior to the start of our summer camp program and will communicate any changes to families in a timely manner. Please note, Camp is dependent on the situation with COVID-19, if any changes with the Governor’s Orders occur – we will postpone camp for this summer.

If your child is a walker, you agree to assume all responsibility at the time camp ends.
If your child is a car rider, please tell us the name or names of those allowed to pick your child up.
I give permission for my child's picture to be used in print, video, and on the web.

Liability Waiver

Waiver text By reading and signing below to this waiver, I consent to the following: THIS ENTRY CONTAINS A LIMITATION ON YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS- READ IT In consideration of your accepting this entry, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive, release and discharge Heart for Monroe, Union County Public Schools, Carolinas HealthCare System, and Monroe Middle School any official sponsor entity, and the officers, directors, shareholders and/or members, agents and employees of each, all personnel assisting with the event, volunteers or any other persons connected with this event, their representatives, successors and assigns, from any and all rights, claims or liability for damage for any and all injuries to me or my property, or damage caused by me or by anyone else (including Acts of God), arising out of or in connection with my participation in this event. I further agree that I will defend, indemnify and hold harmless, any official sponsors, and the directors, officers, members and agents of each, against all claims, demands, and causes of action, including court costs and attorneys' fees directly or indirectly arising from any action or other proceeding brought by or prosecuted for my benefit contrary to this agreement. This release extends to all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown. I grant my irrevocable permission to Heart for Monroe and its authorized agents, to use my name and any photographs, videos, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in this event.
I have read and agree to the conditions of this waiver as a participant over 18 years of age or a parent/legal guardian of a minor under 18 years of age or a legal guardian of a person with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
